Attached are photos taken during the flight.

Enjoy !!

The hot topic of just about everyone in Sandakan lately is the stricken Azamara Quest cruise ship. 5 chartered aircraft. Airport running for almost 18 hours non-stop. Fire Rescue Services were on standby. Runway lights are switched on at night.

Well, that's part of the tales the aviation communities in Sandakan faced. Quite a challenging week but it was terrific.

Relying on equipment and visual observation (non radar environment), they closely monitor each plane to ensure a safe distance between all aircraft and to guide pilots between the different bays and the end of the airport’s airspace.

Attached are photos taken during the "The Day".

Another aerobridge would be good.
All aircrafts are in starting up mode.
Very rare to spot 4 different aircraft at a time.
Bye bye AirAsia.
